Joey Gurango
Managing Director for Philippines, Singapore, and Australia
Joey has a solid track record in forming and running successful software companies.
Prior to establishing Gurango Software Corporation (GSC) in 2003, Joey founded Match Data Systems (MDS)
in the USA and served as its President from 1987 to 1991. He established the Philippine subsidiary of MDS
in 1991 and its Australian subsidiary in 1996. In 1999, Joey sold MDS to Great Plains Software,
which was eventually acquired by Microsoft in 2001. From 1999 to 2001, Joey was Managing Director of the
R&D Center of Great Plains Software in the Philippines, and its Managing Director for Asia.
From 2001 to 2003, he served as the Asia Pacific Regional Director for Products and Services
of Microsoft Business Solutions, when he left to form GSC. In January 2007, he was inducted
into the Hall of Fame for Microsoft's Most Valuable Professionals, in recognition of his mastery of,
and contributions to, software technologies and businesses. In November 2006,
the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship acknowledged him as one of the country's
Ten Most Inspiring Technopreneurs.
Andrew "Lachy" Gibson
Director for HCM Solutions
Lachy co-founded Absalom Systems in 1995 with his wife, Angela.
The company developed a best-of-breed Human Resources Information System (Smart.HR) which was distributed
throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Lachy expanded the business in the African region, while working on the
expansion of Absalom Systems to Australia. He then subsequently established the Singapore operations
of the company prior to its acquisition by Gurango Software Corporation in 2008. Lachy spearheads
business development initiatives in Singapore and Australia, bringing extensive domain knowledge in
Payroll and HR solutions across three continents.
Manny Tanseco
Director for Microsoft Dynamics Solutions
Manny has led and managed teams that sell, deploy and support Microsoft Dynamics products for
over 15 years. He has worked with Joey since joining the IT industry as a member of the Match Data Systems
organization in 1996. His leadership has provided consistent delivery of quality customer services by his teams,
who have been recognized by Microsoft with numerous awards including the Microsoft Dynamics President's Club
and Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle Award in 2003 and 2004; Microsoft Partner of the Year in 2008;
and Microsoft Dynamics Partner of the Year in 2009 and 2010. Manny has a degree in Industrial Engineering
from De La Salle University.
Daphane Flores
PH Sales Manager for Microsoft Dynamics Solutions
Daphane is responsible for all Philippines sales and marketing activities in support of
GSC's Microsoft Dynamics Solutions. Prior to taking on this role, Daphane was GSC's partner manager
for the Forum management and Horizons manufacturing solutions. She also worked as the alliance person for the company's
Microsoft related requirements. She has worked with Joey since 1998 as part of the Match Data Systems and Great Plains Philippines organizations.
Before joining GSC, Daphane was the channel manager of Microsoft Great Plains covering Hong Kong and Indonesia as part of her territory.
Daphane has a degree in journalism from University of the Philippines and a master's degree in marketing from University of Technology, Sydney.
Len Austria
Global Services Manager for HCM Solutions
Len heads up the HCM Solutions consulting and support services delivery for all customer
projects in the Asia Pacific region. She leads a team of HR and payroll domain experts providing software
consulting services to enterprise customers in the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Cambodia,
and Brunei. Before taking on her current role, she led the product development effort for HCM Solutions,
where she coordinated with the customer-facing teams to insure that her product development team’s efforts
are focused on meeting their customers' expectations. Prior to joining GSC in 2003,
Len worked as a Software Requirements Analyst at the Dynamics division of Microsoft and taught
Computer Science courses at the College of St. Benilde. Len has a degree in Computer Science
from De La Salle University.
Yolanie Lumaguip
PH Office Manager
Lanie is responsible for managing all Administrative, Financial, Human Resources, and Facilities
support functions at GSC. Since joining the company in 2006, she has continuously improved these functional areas,
by successfully managing several strategic projects that reduced costs and increased support for the business and development teams.
Her previous industry experience working for IT Service Providers has helped her in providing for GSC's unique business needs.
Lanie has leveraged vendor support services to enable her specialist teams in maximizing their potential in providing best of class
Microsoft-based solutions to GSC's customers.
Milit Barretto
Project Manager & Senior Consultant for Dynamics AX
Milit is a Certified Technology Specialist in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Production.
He has more than two decades of business experience in the fields of operations, supply chain management, and production;
with five years of as a user and consultant of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Milit has been responsible for managing people
and projects at GSC since 2009. Prior to joining GSC, Milit was the Logistics Manager for Coats Manila Bay,
a multinational company engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of world class sewing threads.
Milit has a degree in Industrial Management Engineering from De La Salle University.
Psyche Semilla
Project Manager & Senior Consultant for Dynamics AX
Psyche is a Certified Technology Specialist in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Financials.
She joined GSC in 2008, after working as Team Manager for Dynamics NAV support at Sykes Asia,
and as a Finance Manager & Chief Accountant in the hotel industry.
Psyche first worked for Joey in 2001 as a Dynamics GP support engineer at Microsoft Business Solutions,
after eight years of operational accounting experience in various industries.
She has multiple Microsoft certifications in Dynamics AX, NAV, and the Sure Step Methodology.
Psyche has a degree in Accountancy from Trinity University of Asia.
Rona Santos
PH Practice Manager for Microsoft Dynamics GP
Rona is a certified public accountant and a Microsoft Dynamics Certified Accounting Applications Specialist with
more than 10 years of experience in various industries. Since 2009, Rona has been responsible for managing people and the delivery process
of the company's Dynamics GP projects in the Philippines. Prior to joining GSC in 2008, Rona worked with other Microsoft Dynamics Partner
companies such as Eclipse Computing in Australia, IdealSoft in Singapore, and Global Implementation Services in the Philippines.
She is trained in the Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Methodology, Microsoft Business Solutions Great Plains Software, and Project Management Skills,
among others. Rona has a Master’s in Business Administration from De La Salle University.
Ana Madrid
SG & AU Practice Manager for Microsoft Dynamics Solutions
Ana has 12 years of experience in IT project management and corporate banking.
Prior to joining GSC in 2009, she has worked as a Business Analyst at the Singapore Management University,
a Senior Application Consultant at IdealSoft Singapore, a Team Lead for the Technical Support Group at
Global Implementation Services Philippines, and a Technical Support Engineer for the Microsoft Dynamics GP Financials Support Team
at Sykes Asia Philippines. Ana's latest assignment at GSC is working on the launch of the Gurango Hosted Solutions business unit in Singapore.
Ana has a degree in Management Economics from Ateneo de Manila University.
Jesse Pandes
Project Manager & Senior Consultant for Dynamics GP
Jesse is a certified public accountant and a Microsoft Dynamics Certified Accounting Application Specialist.
She has more than 5 years of consulting experience in successfully managing Dynamic GP projects, catering to a
wide range of clienteles from various industries. Prior to joining GSC in 2009, Jesse worked for other
Microsoft Dynamics partners as project team lead. She was also an accountant for the Department of Interior
and Local Governments and the Landbank of the Philippines. Jesse has a degree in Accountancy from University of the East.
James Olarte
Manager for Microsoft Dynamics Development
James is responsible for the delivery of all software development services for the Microsoft Dynamics GP and AX business
units of GSC. Shortly after he joined GSC in 2007 as a senior software development engineer, James was promoted to technical resource manager,
responsible for the recruitment of development and technical consultants and working closely with the business unit managers, project managers, and project leads.
James is a Microsoft Certified Professional for Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.
He graduated cum laude with a Computer Science degree from Systems Technology Institute (STI).
Jerome Junio
Manager for HCM Development Services
Jerome is responsible for the delivery of all software development services for the HCM business unit;
including client-specific customization projects and product development & maintenance projects for the company's
software IP assets – Smart.HR and Dynamic.PAY. Since joining GSC in 2008, Jerome has filled functional
and development consultant roles in the Dynamics GP, Dynamics CRM and HCM practice areas. Before joining GSC,
he worked as a senior and lead developer for other Dynamics partner firms. Jerome has a degree in
Information Technology from Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Nelly Laxamana
Lead Engineer for HCM Test Services
Nelly is responsible for leading a team of software testers who ensure delivery of quality
software products for HCM Solutions customers in the Asia Pacific region. She joined GSC as an intern in 2008
and became part of the HCM development team in 2010 as a Junior Requirements & Test Analyst. Prior to GSC,
she worked as an instructor at the AMA Computer College in Tarlac. Nelly has a degree in
Information Technology from Angeles University Foundation.
Rafael Ladios
PH Project Manager for BPA Solutions
Raffy is responsible for managing all Philippine customer projects for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
and SharePoint under the BPA business unit, the youngest and smallest team at GSC. He reports to Joey as his general manager.
He joined GSC in 2009 as a software development engineer after he graduated from the Gurango Software Academy program.
Prior to GSC, Raffy worked at Online Accounting Services as a Junior Accountant. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional
for Developing and Implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX2009. Raffy has a degree in Computer Science from Holy Angel University.
Berlly Castillo
Senior Consultant for Dynamics CRM
Berlly is the most experienced Dynamics CRM functional consultant in the Philippines,
with more completed CRM projects under his belt than any other consultant in the country.
He joined GSC in 2008 as an Applications Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Before that, Berlly worked at Jupiter Systems Inc. as an ERP Software Implementation Consultant.
He is a Microsoft Certified Professional for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Applications.
Berlly has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology.
Vanessa Obina
PH Accounting Officer
Van is a Certified Public Accountant and is responsible for managing the financial aspects
of the company's business. Her previous years of experience in various industries helped develop
her mastery in different phases of accounting, which she then applied to the systems she set up for the company.
Since joining GSC in 2008, Van's primary role has been to supervise the Finance team members and ensure
the timely submission of accurate financial reports. She has a degree in Accountancy from the
National College of Business Administration, and will further improve her business management expertise
by pursuing a master's degree in the near future.
