Gurango Software Corporation sweeps awards from Microsoft Philippines

(Manila, Philippines, July 18, 2008) — Gurango Software Corporation received three prestigious awards — including 2008 Partner of the Year — at the Microsoft Philippines Partner Awards 2008, an annual recognition program for Philippine Partners that have contributed substantially to the global software company’s overall growth in the Philippines.
The company is the first Microsoft Dynamics Partner ever named Partner of the Year. Historically, the Partner of the Year award goes to Large Account Resellers (LARs) that make multimillion deals from an enterprise-level client base and specialized Microsoft volume licensing agreements. Gurango Software was given the award in recognition for exceeding revenue targets by 141%, 50% year-on-year growth, and year-on-year customer growth of 71% in the Small to Medium Solutions and Partners (SMSP) segment.
Gurango Software also received two other awards. It received the Dynamics Partner of the Year in recognition for sales performance and services execution on the Microsoft Dynamics AX and GP platforms. Microsoft Philippines specifically cited Gurango Software’s achievement in exceeding its fiscal year target in this segment by 40% and posting year-on-year growth of 50%.
The company received the SMSP Partner of the Year award as well. The award is given to the Microsoft partner that has delivered outstanding performance for the year in terms of effective “Thru Partner Marketing” programs and year-on-year customer growth. Gurango Software exceeded its target revenue by 141% and achieved 50% year-onyear growth in this segment.
