PSIA 'paints the town red' Year-end membership meeting welcomes new members, new Board

December 7, 2011 - Gearing for a stronger year in 2012, the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA) celebrated its fourth General Membership Meeting and Yuletide Party with a bang at the Italianni's Restaurant in Greenbelt 2 in Makati City.

Some 130 guests attended the festive event, which was hosted by former DJ and TV personality Caroline Ruegg and sponsored by member-companies Hewlett-Packard, Pilipinas Shell, and Misys.

The event also featured the announcement of the newly-elected PSIA Board of Directors for the new year. These were Tae Abion of Spiceworx Consultancy, Beng Coronel of Pointwest Technologies, Alvin Gendrano of Microsoft Philippines, Joey Gurango of Gurango Software, Calen Legaspi of Orange & Bronze Software Labs, Arup Maity of BlastAsia, Dod Peralta of IBM Solutions Delivery, Bettina Quimson of Navigator Systems/AppGeekz, and Noya Terrado of Headstrong Philippines.

The Board officers and committee chairmanships shall be determined at the first Board meeting in January 2012.
